Sponsors who’ve saved the Heat program

THE generosity of a group of local businesses has ensured the Northern Heat Development Program will continue this summer.

Recently it was announced that the program was under threat due to a major financial backer of the Northern Heat advising the AFL North Coast late in the piece that it decided to withdraw its funding from the program.

Fortunately for the AFL North Coast community and the talented juniors who benefit from the Northern Heat program, a group of local businesses have raised their hand to offer varying levels of financial support to ensure the program’s future.

PHIL ROBINSON EARTHMOVING has offered sponsorship for the Northern Heat Development Program to such a level that it has also become a ball sponsor for the 2025 season with the company’s logo to be placed on footballs that will be used during representative matches and senior finals.

When asked why he was so quick to jump on board with support, Phil Robinson said he simply wanted to help the players that will benefit from the program.

“It’s a more than worthwhile investment into the young players in our community,” Robinson said.

“We’re not about making a lot of money. We do what we can to make sure the money we make stays in the local community.”

MID NORTH COAST ALLIED HEALTH with its many venues from Port Macquarie up to Woolgoolga is now more than just a sponsor of the AFL North Coast’s representative program, it is now the League’s preferred injury management partner.

Other sponsors who have helped to save the Northern Heat program are:

WORMSMART

THE CHIP SHOP

ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES

MATTHEWS ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT

The AFL North Coast extends a large thank you to the above businesses who are providing much valued support to the League and its representative programs.

The League would also like to thank the C.ex Group and Hoey Moey for their continued support of the AFL North Coast.
