ROUND 10 PREVIEW: Port Macquarie’s women have climbed to the top of the ladder and now the Magpies men are chasing a berth in the top two rungs on the ladder.

The Magpies travel to Sawtell on Saturday now trailing the second placed Coffs Breakers by just percentage.

But if the Magpies should stumble at Richardson Park on Saturday, they are under threat from a fast improving Grafton who are now just a game away from second position.

This reason plus the fact there are just six home & away rounds remain this season makes the results of Saturday’s matches all the more important.

In the women’s competition Northern Beaches will be looking to bounce back from its drop down to second spot on the ladder with a win over their rival the Coffs Breakers.

Byron’s women’s side has slipped outside the top four but could get back among the top bracket with a victory at home against Grafton.
