Save the date: Coach ed workshop with Ryan O’Keefe

2012 Norm Smith Medallist Ryan O'Keefe will be at Fitzroy Oval on Friday afternoon to help with the 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership Cup tour.

Attention all coaches: Sydney Swans legend Ryan O’Keefe will be running a development workshop in Coffs Harbour on Wednedsay 20 January 2021.

Ryan is the newly appointed Coaching Development and Education Lead for AFL NSW/ACT and is keen to hit the ground running.

After a stellar 287 game career for Sydney that included Premierships in 2005 and 2012, Ryan immediately transitioned into a coaching role with the Adelaide Crows in 2014, appointed as a midfield development coach before taking charge of the club’s SANFL team in 2016.

In 2018 Ryan was appointed senior coach of the Western Jets in the AFL’s NAB League.

He now brings that wealth of elite playing and coaching experience to his new role as Coaching Development and Education Lead and will be an incredible resource for coaches from across the state and territory.

The session in Coffs Harbour on Wednesday 20 January will be from 6:00pm to 7:30pm (venue t.b.c.). The session is also intended to be offered via video conference for anyone who is unable to be at the session.
