Swans Kids Clinic is a huge hit!
Over 200 kids had an absolute ball at last night’s (Monday) Sydney Swans Kids Clinic where they got up close and personal with the vast majority of the Swans squad.
Split into age groups, the kids rotated through a number of stations including goal kicking with Buddy Franklin and Nick Blakey, marking with Isaac Heeney, evasion with Tom Papley, and handballing with Colin O’Riordan.
The training session ran for an hour and was followed by the chance for the kids to get autographs from all 35 players present. Many of the youngsters brought their own memorabilia to get signed, while those who didn’t received membership caps to collect autographs upon.
Whilst the kids were collecting autographs a number of local coaches had the chance to spend some time with Swans coaching staff Tadhg Kennelly, Jeremy Laidler, and Lloyd Perris discussing pathways, drills, and philosophy.
