Volunteers are the backbone of football clubs. Meet new people and become engaged in the community by volunteering within a football club or umpiring group. Clubs are always looking for volunteers to assist them and there are endless roles that can be filled.
There are a mix of both committee roles (e.g. Treasurer, Registrar, Social Media Co-ordinator, Volunteer Co-ordinator, etc) and match day roles (e.g. Ground Manager, Goal Umpire, Timekeeper, Canteen helper, etc) at every club. So, whether your interest is in giving back to the community, meeting new people, learning new skills, or for intrinsic reasons, there’s a role that’s perfectly suited to you.
