Coffs to host another AFLW match

FOR the second season in a row an AFLW match will be played at C.ex Coffs International Stadium.

The release of the 2025 AFL Womens fixture has seen the Sydney Swans choose to once again play a home game in Coffs Harbour.

This year the match will be played against Essendon for the final game of the home-and-away season to be played over the weekend of November 1 and 2. The game has been left as a floating fixture and the exact date and time of the match will be confirmed later in the year.

The Coffs Coast is a familiar destination for the red and white, with the team taking their pre-season AFLW Community Camp to the region in July.

Sydney Swans CEO Tom Harley said the team is lookingh forward to returning to Coffs Harbour to play for premiership points.

“After successfully taking a home game to Coffs Harbour last year, we’re looking forward to heading back to the region in what is an important opportunity to engage participants in the area,” Harley said.

In 2024 the Swans played an AFLW match in Coffs Harbour for the first time. The match against Richmond saw the Tigers prevail by 46 points in front of a crowd of 2279 people.
