New Blood in the North Coast Office

AFL NSW/ACT is excited to announce the appointment of the Northern NSW region’s first ever Young Leader, Emily Sutherland.

Emily started last month in the full-time role and will be working with Matt Crawley, Paul Taylor and Brad Greenshields, to run school programs, inter-schools’ competitions, and come and try sessions throughout the region as well as competition management, updating fixtures, B&F votes, and ladder changes.

The 18 year-old comes to the team as a Sports Ready Trainee and will be completing a Certificate III in Business.

Em (or ‘Sutho’ as she’s quickly become known in the office) enjoys all things female sport and development. She has played in a Bellingen Bulldogs Youth Girls Premiership Team in 2020. She looks forward to getting more young athletes involved in the game she loves.
