Angus named in Covid top-up list for Swans

THE dream of playing in the AFL could be one step closer for former Sawtell/Toormina player Angus Anderson.

This morning all 18 clubs revealed their list of 20 players they can call upon in case a club suddenly has a group of players unavailable in case of a Covid-19 outbreak.

The Sydney Swans nominated ‘Banger’ as one of their 20 players.

Half of the 20 players named by the Swans come from their VFL list while Anderson and Will Edwards are the only two players from the Sydney Swans Academy who’ve been named.
