Get in the Game: Umpires wanted for 2019

AFL North Coast is looking to recruit new umpires ahead of the 2019 season.

If you love footy, you’ll love being an umpire. Not only do you get the best view of the action, you also get paid for the privilege. Keep fit, be part of a team, and learn leadership skills for both on and off the field.

People interested in taking up umpiring need to complete an online Laws of the Game course, then can access coaching that is delivered within the region.

To umpire in the AFL North Coast Junior Competition an individual must be in the age group above the one they wish to umpire in, e.g. a player in the Under 13 competition can umpire matches in the Under 11 competition.

Umpiring is a great way for players to learn the rules of the game which helps greatly with their own development as players.
