Sawtell Saints to start Youth Girls team

The 2018 season will see the Sawtell Toormina Saints Juniors running a Youth Girls team for the first ever time in the AFL North Coast competition.

The club is looking for girls who will be aged between 13 and 17 in 2018 to be part of this history making team.

Youth Girls AFL is a fast paced, contact sport. Skills learnt in sports such as Basketball, Soccer, Netball, Hockey and others are transferable to footy.

The club is running an information training session with female AFL development staff and great female leaders from within the club.
