Further Swans Academy trials announced
ATHLETES born in 2009 and 2010 can now apply to try out for the QBE Sydney Swans Academy.
The Academy is testing for elite athletes and/or footballers who have not yet entered the Swans Academy in the younger age groups and have displayed high level achievement with a local club or an alternative sport.
The Academy’s Talent Assessment sessions provide an opportunity for talented athletes and AFL footballers with the sessions being held at Lakeside Oval, Moore Park, opposite the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The Talent Assessment sessions are being held from 4.30pm to 7.00pm on the following dates:
Under 14 and Under 15 Girls (born 2009 and 2010) – Monday 9 September
Under 14 Boys (born 2010) – Tuesday 10 September
Under 15 Boys (born 2009) – Wednesday 11 September
Please note that applications for an assessment close at 5.00pm on Friday 23 August.
Your application DOES NOT guarantee you an invitation to the session. Registrations are restricted and applicants will be notified via SMS or email if an application is successful.
Successful applicants will be asked to pay a $75 registration fee.
ATHLETE REFERENCE: To assist the Swans Academy with the process of selecting successful applicants, it asks applicants to provide a name and contact details of an independent person to endorse the application. This can be a club coach, club president, key person at your club, school or sport. A parent will NOT be accepted as a valid reference.
