Breakers out to beat the Blues
ROUND 3 PREVIEW: FOR the second week in a row a Coffs Breakers team is facing a foe that defeated it on Grand Final Day last year.
Last week the Breakers men reversed the grand final result against Port Macquarie.
This Saturday the women will be facing Northern Beaches.
Can the Breakers overturn last year’s result once more?
The Breakers have started slowly so far this season with a lot of new players new to the sport while the Blues have hit the ground running starting 2023 with two comfortable victories.
Both of Port Macquarie and Sawtell/Toormina’s men’s teams were in the contest at half time last week only to fall away in the second half.
The Magpies and Saints will be looking to bounce back when they meet at Wayne Richards Park on Saturday.
The Byron Bay Magpies are set to face their sternest test of the season so far when they travel to Grafton to face the Tigers.
In the women’s match at Ellem Oval, both the Tigers and Byron Magpies will be looking to itch their first victory of 2023.
