THE 2023 season promises to be a season of rebuilding for the Northern Beaches Blues.

The reigning premier in the women’s competition will once again feature a team where about half of its members are playing football for the first time.

The new players will be led ably by coach Alana Hanson who will no doubt leave no stone unturned to find a way to mix the new with the experienced players who were members of last year’s grand final winning team.

The rebuilding that took place over the summer was off the field with the club moving from its traditional home of Centennial Oval to the brand new, fancy digs at Wiigulga Sports Complex.

With many of the club’s veterans moving on, the men’s team is sure to field more often than not an inexperienced team full of young players taking their first steps into senior football.

The young players will be sure to learn a lot though from premiership coach Adi Campbell.

The coach has led the Tigers to success in the past and has a history of coaching teams to a premiership in his first year in charge of them.It will be interesting to see if Campbell’s golden touch will continue at the Blues.
