REIGNING premier Port Macquarie is looking to be even better in 2023 and has been putting in the hard yards over summer under the watchful eyes of co-coaches Braden Saggers and Kye Taylor to make it happen.

The Magpies have picked up some handy recruits over the summer including Tom Marmo who returns to the club after a stint in the Northern Territory. Not only will Marmo bolster the playing stock of the men’s team but he will also be co-coaching the women’s team this year.

The women’s team have picked up a number of recruits who’ve moved to the area which will no doubt improve the group and with Marmo’s influence, the women could improve on last year when they reached the Preliminary Final.
