Finals venues are locked and loaded
AFL North Coast has today announced the venues for all matches in the Finals Series of both the Junior and Senior Competitions.
The Semi Finals of the Junior Competition are the starting point for the post season action, with matches to be played on Sunday 21 August in Port Macquarie, Nambucca Heads, and Bellingen. The Semi Final schedule is as follows:
EJ Biffin Playing Fields, Nambucca Heads
9:30am – Youth Girls 14: Northern Beaches Blues (1st) v Coffs Harbour Breakers (4th)
10:55am – Under 11: Port Macquarie Swoopers (1st) v Sawtell Toormina Saints (4th)
12:20pm – Under 13: Nambucca Valley Lions (1st) v Coffs Harbour Breakers (4th)
1:45pm – Under 15: Nambucca Valley Lions (1st) v Coffs Harbour Breakers (4th)
Wayne Richards Park, Port Macquarie
9:30am – Under 11: Port Macquarie Flyers (2nd) v Northern Beaches Blues (3rd)
10:55am – Under 13: Port Macquarie Flyers (2nd) v Port Macquarie Swoopers (3rd)
12:20pm – Under 15: Port Macquarie Swoopers (2nd) v Northern Beaches Blues (3rd)
Burdett Park, Fernmount
9:30am – Youth Girls 14: Bellingen Bulldogs (2nd) v Nambucca Valley Lions (3rd)
10:55am – Youth Girls 17: Sawtell Toormina Saints (2nd) v Coffs Harbour Breakers (3rd)
12:20pm – Youth Girls 17: Bellingen Bulldogs (1st) v Grafton Tigers (4th)
The winner of each Semi Final will progress to the Grand Final to be played at C.ex Coffs International Stadium on Sunday 28 August.
Meanwhile, AFL North Coast has also announced that both weeks of the Finals Series in the Senior Competition will be staged at C.ex Coffs International Stadium.
This season’s format will see the Minor Premier in each grade automatically qualify for the Grand Final which will be on Saturday 3 September. They will face off against the winners of the Preliminary Finals featuring second v third, with these matches to be played on Saturday 27 August.
All matches played at C.ex Coffs International Stadium in both the Junior and Senior Competitions will be ticketed events. Tickets will be available online on the Monday prior to the relevant match day, with links to be published via this website.
For those that can’t be there on the biggest day, all Grand Finals in both the Junior and Senior Grand Finals will be live streamed. Links to the stream of each match will be available via AFL North Coast social media channels.
