Senior club profile: Casino Lions
In this club profile we turn the spotlight on the second club to join our competition in 2021 – the Casino Lions.
The Lions have re-formed for the 2021 season having last taken to the field competitively in the Northern Rivers competition in 2017. Through much hard work the Casino Lions are back on the park with a Senior team and will be a great addition to our competition.
HOW IS 2021 SHAPING UP? (Ben Hunt, President)
The side is looking to be in great shape and really benefited from the first hit out on the weekend. We’ll definitely be a young side but our determination, club culture, and sportsmanship will shine through in 2021.

Who are you expecting big things from?:
Liam Fitzpatrick is a proven ball magnet and we are expecting him to take his game to the next level and lead from the front in 2021.
Big ins:
As a new club, we have too many to count! We do have a great mix of original Lions that will make a showing over the 2021 season.

WOMEN’S TEAM PROFILE
We aren’t in a position to field a Women’s team this season but we’ve definitely got a core group of interested ladies who are very keen. We’ll look to play some demonstration games through the season to keep that enthusiasm building as we plan to enter a Women’s team in 2022.
