All 18 AFL clubs make a splash for Big Freeze 6
The annual, and iconic, Big Freeze extravaganza returned for a sixth year, but definitely looked a little different in 2020.
Just as they did in 2018, all 18 AFL clubs answered Neale Daniher’s call and were at the forefront of the event, making a ‘splash’ and raising vital awareness and funds in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Due to the restrictions imposed as a result of COVID-19, and the forced hiatus of the AFL season, the Queen’s Birthday event wasn’t staged at the MCG in 2020, and while the ‘slide’ didn’t happen, the Big Freeze still will.
If you missed yesterday’s event you can watch the sliders from each club right here.
To contribute to the cause, either purchase a Fight MND beanie from Coles or Bunnings, or go to the Fight MND website to make a donation or undertake a fundraising initiative.
