Footy says thanks to the Umpires

This week, right across the country, we celebrate Community Umpiring Week.

It’s a great chance to recognise the invaluable contribution that Umpires make to the successful staging of footy matches at all levels within the community.

Make sure you make a special effort to thank the Umpires this week, whether that be by players and coaches shaking their hands and thanking them, or by clubs offering them a free sausage sandwich and drink.

Please also remember that we’re always on the lookout for more Umpires, especially for the Junior competition. Umpiring is a great way to stay fit and involved with footy whilst also earning money!
