Level 2 Coaching Course is open for applications

AFL NSW/ACT is pleased to announce that applications for the next intake of the Level 2 Coaching Course are now open!

All club coaches are required to be qualified to a minimum standard of Foundation (Level 1) course accreditation. This is a chance for coaches to extend their knowledge, elevate their coaching to a higher standard, and offer an even better experience to their players and teams.

Topics covered in the course include:

  • Delivering effective training sessions
  • Coaching philosophy
  • Building relationships
  • Developing culture
  • Strategies & tactics
  • Game day coaching
  • Reflective practice

The first part of the Level 2 course is scheduled to be conducted on Monday 22 November and will be split across four evenings through November 2021 to February 2022. Applications are due by Monday 1 November 2021.

To apply for the Level 2 course coaches must have already completed their Foundation (Level 1) coaching accreditation. Following the application period, successful applicants will be notified via email and will be required to:

1. Pay the $250.00 registration fee
2. Attend all sessions encompassed within the course
3. Complete all pre and post-course assessment requirements
