COVID 19 update: Wednesday 7 July 2021
The NSW Government has today confirmed that the current COVID related restrictions will remain in force for a further seven days.
This means that the restrictions that have been in place for local footy for the past two weeks will continue for matches played on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 July. These are:
- Masks are compulsory at organised outdoor events, which includes community football. Click here for a list of FAQs regarding mask wearing at community football.
- The one person per four square metre rule will continue for all outdoor settings, including community sport.
- If alcohol is served at the footy, people drinking alcohol must be seated.
People involved with club footy on the North Coast have responded extremely well to these restrictions over the past two weeks. Thanks for doing the right thing not only by our sport, but also by our communities. Please keep up the great work.
