Celebrate World Milk Day with our friends at Norco!

Happy (belated!) World Milk Day!

Monday 1 June marked the 20th anniversary of World Milk Day, and with Norco being a highly valued partner of AFL North Coast, it’s entirely appropriate that we should celebrate this day (even if we are a little late!).

Established in Byron Bay in 1895 Norco is a 100% Australian farmer owned dairy co-operative with 326 active members on 214 dairy farms in northern New South Wales and south east Queensland.

To celebrate World Milk Day, Dairy Australia will kick-off with the Milk Bottle Challenge, asking Australians to pull on their footy boots (regardless of the code you follow) and complete a trick shot between two milk bottles to show their support for dairy and the Aussie dairy farming community. So, what are you waiting for? Get kicking!

There are three steps involved in the challenge:

  1. Set up your own trick shot and film yourself, a family member or colleague kicking a footy through milk bottle goals. (Feel free to get creative with this, just make it safe!)
  2. Share the video on your socials to show your support for Aussie dairy. Be sure to use the campaign hashtags #milkbottlechallenge #worldmilkday
  3. Nominate a friend to do the challenge.

And, of course, next time you’re at the supermarket and are looking for milk, flavoured milk, cream, custard, butter, cheese, or ice cream, don’t forget to check out the Norco products!
