Help shape the future of local footy

AFL North Coast, in conjunction with the local footy clubs and AFL NSW/ACT, has started a strategic planning process which will provide future direction to develop our Senior and Junior competitions.

At the end of the 2019 season, clubs were asked to identify three main focus areas, either for their own club’s development, or that of the League. The focus areas were examined in much more depth at a workshop involving club representatives, which allowed four key areas to be identified and a series of questions to be framed under each.

The four key areas are:
  1. What are the best competition structures and strategies to maximise participation, growth and transition of players?
  2. How do we make things easier for more people to volunteer?
  3. How do we best grow, develop and transition umpires?
  4. What makes a strong and positive club culture?

We’re now seeking input from as many people as possible that are involved in AFL on the North Coast, i.e. Senior players, Junior players, Auskickers, parents, and family members.

To share your views please complete the online survey which can be found here.

The survey will close at 5:00pm on Friday 15 November so please get in quick and help shape the future of footy on the North Coast.
