Sydney Swans to Play North Melbourne in Coffs

Top class AFL action will be returning to Coffs Harbour in February.

The AFL has released the fixture for it’s 2017 pre-season matches, the JLT Community Series (formerly NAB Challenge) and a match has been drawn to be played at the C.ex Coffs International Stadium.

The Sydney Swans will be returning to Coffs Harbour, this time to play against North Melbourne on the afternoon of Sunday, February 19.

Sydney Swans’ CEO and managing director Andrew Ireland said the fixture is another win for Swans supporters in the region.

“It’s great for Coffs Harbour to host a pre-season match and we’re excited to be playing there, after the city hosted our past three pre-season camps,” Mr Ireland said.

The match, which will be broadcast live across the country on Fox Sports, is a welcome return to the Stadium for top-level AFL which was last seen here in 2015 when a crowd of more than 4,000 watched the Swans take on the Brisbane Lions.
